UV light kills viruses

The two of us have been worried a lot recently about the indoor air quality in our home, but I suppose that the two of us are thinking more about the indoor air quality levels lately because of all the news about viruses, bacteria, and mold lately.

It seems as if viruses are the only thing that anyone is talking about these days.

Of course, that makes me nervous about keeping awful air quality and contaminants out of our house. The two of us want to make sure that the indoor air quality levels in our apartment are as good as it can possibly be. We already use high quality air filters. The last time the two of us purchased air filters for our heating and cooling system, we splurged and purchased HEPA filters, which are the best a one’s on the market. So a UV light air purifier isn’t exactly something that has been off our radar, so to speak. I wanted to wait a month or two before the two of us purchased a UV light air purifier, though. I wanted to pay for it with my bonus check, and my hubby decided that he wasn’t willing to wait any longer, though. He came to the apartment today with the best UV light air purifier that he was able to purchase from our local heating and cooling business. This UV light air purifier supposedly kills almost a hundred percent of airborne bacteria and viruses that might otherwise invade our air space. I was a little bit aggravated that he bought it without getting my input, but I have to say that I’m relieved that the two of us are going to be running the UV light air purifier with our HVAC unit from now on. I’m worried about what the two of us might be breathing into our lungs.
