The lake house had an ancient gas furnace with many faults
My cousins believed I was nuts when I chose to purchase this run-down family lake house out in the middle of nowhere.
It was far from any town.
Also there was this old gas furnace that had many faults with heating the lake house. The fireplace was in good condition, however the whole lake house was trashed. I had to put in long hours to get it tidy enough to actually stay in. I also had a Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician come out to check the gas furnace to make sure it was in good working condition. I also cleaned out the chimney for the fireplace so that I could use it safely. The HVAC technician said that the gas furnace had many faults and advised me to install a new one. When I asked what I should go for, the guy presented the options. Instead of choosing a new gas furnace which would have to be refilled all the time, I opted for a new ductless mini split Heating, Ventilation and A/C system. The Heating, Ventilation and A/C technician said how energy efficient this system is plus how it would work with some solar panels hooked up. I could hook up the solar panels to work flawlessly with the Heating, Ventilation and A/C equipment, and so I went for it. After putting in plenty of work, the lake house looked amazing. I didn’t have the internet, however at least I had electricity from the solar panels. My cousins and I were able to dance to tunes and watch films.
