Purchasing a new HVAC system for the recording studio
My brothers have been singing since they were eight years old. After several successful albums, my parents decided to manage their careers. That meant we all had to engage in the family business. My role was running the modern recording studio. So far, it was the best gig, and I loved every minute of it. It also meant I could continue bossing my brothers around. We had rough days but enjoyed working together. The recording studio had cost a fortune to set up but was a worthy investment. One morning we got to the studio and found out the air conditioner wasn’t working. Since it was in the middle of summer, it was unbearable to keep recording in such a hot place. I phoned the AC technician, but he wasn’t available until later in the afternoon. We had to wait, and I went online to research more about the right air conditioners for a recording studio. I suspected we didn’t have a good HVAC unit to handle the large room. We needed a more robust heating and cooling device. Once the cooling unit specialist was at the studio, he confirmed my theory. The ductless mini-split was too small. We needed a mini-split AC with a suitable capacity to heat and cool the room. I had to check the accounts and purchase a new HVAC immediately. We couldn’t afford to waste another day without recording during summer. Our parents thought it was better to get a central heating and cooling system. It would take a few days to set up the ducts, but it would offer proper air ventilation. We saw the wisdom in the choice though we had to incur AC installation and maintenance costs. Once the HVAC service completed the task, we were back working in the best studio in town.
