Even when the weather is really overheated outside, my children still beg me to go to the zoo, they are just animal lovers, as a result no matter what else happens to be going on, they just constantly want me and their father to take them to the zoo.

Without an air conditioner, I don’t know how people make it through the high humid temperatures in the summer. I guess that makes me sound pretty spoiled and entitled, and maybe I am. I just know that when I have a new home that’s nice and cool because of our high efficiency air conditioner, I don’t adore leaving to go traipsing around the zoo. I already know the temperature at the zoo is at least 10 degrees hotter than it is here at home anyway, and plus, hardly any of the buildings or exhibits at the zoo have air conditioning in them. I guess the animals don’t care one way or the other about the heat, however I sure do. The only place at the zoo with air conditioning that I can know of is the restaurant near the rainforest exhibit, last time we were there, I sent the kids to the hot, muggy rainforest while I sat under the cafe’s air conditioner. I guess that’s what I’m going to have to do again if they keep on pestering me about it.

I made sure to tell the owner of the Heating & Air Conditioning company this, & she understood. She told me that I would only be helping the Heating & Air Conditioning businesss at first. I wouldn’t begin our training as an Heating & Air Conditioning business for a few years. When I showed up at the Heating & Air Conditioning company on the first morning, I was nervous. I had no system what to bring. I met with the owner of the Heating & Air Conditioning business, & the people I was with and I talked for a while. She told me that I would have to buy our own tools, but she let me borrow some for the first week. I began studying about basic things concerning Heating & Air Conditioning units, & I discovered that I was enjoying myself. I have l earned a lot about Heating & Air Conditioning units since then, & I have loved every minute of it.

My uncle is the “coolest” guy I know.

That’s not just a play on his work as an HVAC serviceman, he is seriously awesome.

He drives a huge interests car, he has a custom-built house, he and our aunt go on fun trips every year… you name it, he does it. Honestly, his lifestyle made me want to be an HVAC serviceman. He works a peculiar schedule so he would always be at our games and take me to events when no one else could. Not to mention, obviously, the guy makes bank. My aunt only works area time and they’re still able to do basically whatever they want. I’ve started shadowing him now that I’m ancient enough for an apprenticeship and, honestly, the work as an HVAC serviceman isn’t bad, sure, you have to wash people’s ductwork and replace air conditioners, gas furnaces, boilers, etc. but it’s not as dangerous as, say, being an electrician and it doesn’t require as strong of a stomach as being a plumber. A work as an HVAC serviceman, if you’re looking for a task like this, is definitely the best option (in our humble opinion!). I might be a little biased because our uncle is an HVAC serviceman, but still. Additionally, he was able to buy a custom-built lake house and take care of all of the HVAC himself. That’s a huge cost-saver and now his HVAC plan is set up in a way that would be easy and clear for any HVAC serviceman to take care of should he be unable to take care of it himself (for whatever reason). I start our fifth week of HVAC serviceman apprenticeship tomorrow. I particularly recognize the HVAC industry might be our calling.

It seems like every Summer there is something wrong with our cooling system.

When I obtained our cabin I knew the Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C device was not the best.

The cooling feature has regularly given myself and others grief though. At first, I thought it was simply because the outdoor air compressor was not level. The refrigerant all would go to one side of the unit, so the indoor air was just tepd rather than cold. After leveling out the A/C I had it working for a bit. Then it started not giving myself and others any cool air again. Turns out the wiring was what was wrong next. The wires were frayed plus the two units essentially we are not talking to each other. I could tell the control unit I wanted AC, however it would not get to the unit. I would only have the option of heating. That got fixed by an actual Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C business. I was able to go a Summer with nice AC! Now, it is the up-to-date Summer plus I am having more A/C problems again. The cabin just can’t stay cool. I keep our blinds closed plus I rarely open our door. The cooling proposal is blowing out tepid air again. The device is level plus the wiring was just checked. So now what is the issue here? It is aggravating that every Summer I need to do A/C troubleshooting. I don’t want to let it go longer plus longer, and right now I am mildly uncomfortable. On a 90 degree day, the inside of the cabin will be unbearable. I am wondering if I should just split our losses plus get a whole up-to-date A/C unit.
