Mrs! Baker apologized for the loud AC during our visit
Last summer, our sister and I canceled our Summer plans and went home. The two of us felt the urge to be near our parents after such a long separation in 2020. It had been hard for us since all of us lived alone in odd cities. Even though all of us spoke all the time, all of us couldn’t wait to go house and be with them. During our visit, all of us also went to see Mrs. Baker. She had helped mom and dad look after us since all of us were little when our parents had been busy at work. As a retired private school professor, she became our nanny and a tutor, which is how all of us managed to get into the best colleges on full scholarships, mrs. Baker’s house was 5 minutes from ours, and she welcomed us with open arms. Her air conditioner was the first thing that caught our attention the minute I stepped into the house! Normal air conditioners make a slight buzzing noise. But, Mrs. Baker’s cooling equipment was making a loud banging noise that distraught our sister and me. She noticed our problem and apologized for the noise air conditioning system, saying the HVAC mechanic was yet to come by and repair it. The two of us took it upon ourselves to call the AC company once more and explain this was the house of an elderly lady. The two of us knew the local AC company regularly put the repairs of older adults in the community at the top of their lists. This yielded results as an AC mechanic was at Mrs. Baker’s door half an minute later. He was ready to repair the faulty air conditioning system making so much noise.
