This dog trend has to stop
I really prefer dogs and most other pets, to be honest with you… My girlfriend and I have a German shepherd and a cute little tabby cat… They are both lovable and calm and they follow direction genuinely easily, unluckily, not all pet owners have the upper hand with their animals… I went to work on an Heating, Ventilation & A/C repair this past week and I almost left because of the owner’s pet! She had a giant untrained saint bernard that would not listen to any command.
The dog kept howling and loudly barking at me.
I didn’t think the dog would bite me, however I was absolutely intimidated by the beast. I quickly asked the owner to take the dog to a new room, but the owner decided to put the dog in the backyard instead. I truly tried to concentrate on the Heating, Ventilation & A/C repair, however all throughout, I could still hear the dog barking loudly just 10 ft away from where I was carefully working. Halfway through the Heating, Ventilation & A/C repair, the dog actually started trying to get through the garage door. The dog was growling and snarling up a storm, trying to tear down the door. I told the owner that I was not going to be able to finish the Heating, Ventilation & A/C repair unless they had the dog fully under control. The owner finally agreed to put the dog back inside the new home in a room far away from where the Heating, Ventilation & A/C device was permanently located. The dog weighed 100 pounds or more and I think it could have actually taken our arm off.
