The waiting room was very warm and humid

I took my daughter to the dentist this week to have some work completed.

She needed two cavities filled and a crown placed on her back molar.

I sat in the waiting room while my daughter was sitting in the chair. The dentist only allowed the patient in the room since they are practicing strict social distancing guidelines. While I waited in the lobby, I read a couple of different magazines about sports, life, and current events. The indoor air quality was less than ideal. It was quite warm and humid. The ductless AC in the corner of the rooms was running, but the air coming out of the vents didn’t seem to be very cold.I moved to a different chair on the right side of the room, so I was closer to the location of the ductless AC. Even after I moved closer to the machine, I still didn’t feel any more comfortable. I finally stood up and placed my hand next to the vent where cold air was coming out. The air was warm and it also smelled bad. I decided to get up and tell the receptionist that the ductless AC might not be working. She thanked me for the information and immediately came out to the lobby. She adjusted the temperature settings and went back to her desk. I don’t know if that fixed the problem, but the indoor air did get colder after that. I left with my daughter shortly after so I have no idea if the machine was broken.
