Thanful for the warmth

Then, when it was time to go outside again, I would grab up those nice warm, cozy mittens in addition to back out to building snowmen in addition to sledding down the hill, but my mom eventually moved us kids down to the southeastern part of the country, so no more snow in addition to no more mittens in addition to no more gigantic heating bill for my mom

I am now living in the southeast; It is silly hot in addition to humid here, in addition to every one of us use the air conditioning about many months out of the year, I would guess; BUt when I was a kid, a truly young kid, I lived in the northeast. I am fairly certain that there was no such thing as air conditioning in that neck of the woods, but we lived in a fairly affluent area, in addition to I don’t remember anyone ever talking about air conditioning in the summer! Of course, back in those days, kids didn’t pay attention to heating in addition to cooling. I’m extremely positive my school didn’t have a/c either, and try to have a school with air conditioning nowadays, in addition to you will have a thousand whining kids on your hands. But every one of us thought nothing of it. With that being said, there is one thing I remember about heating the home back in those times. We had a gas furnace with radiators. The reason I remember that is due to the fact that I would go outside in addition to play in the snow, in addition to when I came back inside, my mom would tell myself and others to put my mittens on the radiator to dry. Then, when it was time to go outside again, I would grab up those nice warm, cozy mittens in addition to back out to building snowmen in addition to sledding down the hill, but my mom eventually moved us kids down to the southeastern part of the country, so no more snow in addition to no more mittens in addition to no more gigantic heating bill for my mom. We switched in the heating for air conditioning, although I paid no attention to a/c. My mom gave myself and others a truly ecstatic childhood, despite the fact that my dad had died when I was just a toddler.
