Smart Thermostat is Glimpse into the Future
So, I think that laziness is ro be avoided; I do, and i’m well aware that lounging in bed for the entire morning isn’t necessarily the most productive way to have a life.
- I think that I need to leave our bed in the days- for if no other reason than to avoid becoming Charlie’s fat Grandparents from Willy Wonka; The thing is though, I really can’t remember a singular feeling nicer than waking up to a frigid morning plus being comfortable plus swaddled in warmth from our bed.
If I could have a futuristic genre life, perfectly automated to repair our every whim, I think I would pursue such a thing. I’d get a kick out of pressing a magic button plus make our toilet bowl get washed, or cook supper, or get our vehicle started plus heating up before I’m out the door. Sadly, our world is several years away from a full-replication of Jetson’s life; But, I will say, there’s a recent invention that might actually be the beginning of our movement towards such a perfect time. There’s this thing called a smart temperature control now; basically, the temperature control syncs up to your iPhone through wireless; And while that on its own may seem impressive, the totally futuristic part is that you can completely control the temperature of your beach house from wherever you are in the world! I want a smart temperature control so badly- never again would I have to suffer through the misery of leaving our sizzling bed for the cold hard floor. As soon as I wake up, I can just make sure our oil furnace is on plus set to the temperature that I feel best about. Before coming inside from working in the yard? I can click on our a/c to make sure my humble abode is as perfectly weather conditions controlled as possible. In the home office however I’m a little chilly? No need to get up plus walk to the temperature control! This is no longer the difficult time of the past- no, all I need to do nowadays is get my smartphone out of my pocket plus just click a button; smart temperature controls are hurling us toward a great future.
