There are no gas oil heating systems down here because the two of us hardly need the heat pump when it comes to winter. I’m sure there are plenty of people who love being cozy inside their apartment with all kinds of heating going on. I’m just not one of them.

The temperatures are so cold right now that I can’t justify taking my telescope outside for longer than a few minutes at most. That’s why my wife and I purchased a gas space heater last week. It is designed for porches and decks like the ones that are utilized by restaurants for outdoor seating areas. It immediately makes our outdoor viewing area warm and bearable. Granted, the heat is directional and we need to pay attention to that, but otherwise we enjoy the gas space heater a lot.

Both of us had one of the coldest winters that I had ever experienced last week.

If there happens to be anything wrong with it that I’m all unaware of, the heating and A/C specialist can abruptly service the issue, therefore giving me the relief I need knowing that my heating program is taken care of for the Winter time and I don’t have to worry about it chopping down. I have heard of other people that have been less lucky and have had their gas furnaces split down on them while in the chilly Winter time months; Sometimes it just gets too chilly for even the heating program to handle! I want to prevent that as much as possible and the best way to do that is to have my heating and A/C program diagnosed consistently.

Living on the streets can be rough.

I ended up here because I pretty much gave up on a lot of things about two years ago. My vehicle broke down, I did not pay our taxes & I left our spouse for a new life which I failed at. I lost our kid’s care about & I became broken inside. I started to go to counseling because the thought of all the things I did which eventually turned into depression & anxiety put me in a honestly dark location, but now I walk the streets of the city staring up at the stars, thinking I had everything & now I shall never have that care about I once had, those dreams are shattered & our will to move forward is a struggle every day. I see families smiling, laughing, & living a life that I should have myself. I need to get myself out of this hole I dug & I need to keep pushing forward, however first of all, I need some sort of heater. It’s getting colder & colder as snow will be arriving soon. I dream of the days when I sat on our chair with our thermostat having that perfect temperature control. Now I just wish I had a fireplace to sit in front of. I see others care about myself resting or sitting under a bridge around a barrel with flames coming from it. I watch them huddle & I do not want to make any friends because who knows? A bunch of our days are numbered & I need to get our life back. I’m not going to die out here.
