Now that it’s warm, here’s how to maintain your gas furnace

Now that the weather is finally getting warm, plus hopefully we’ll be able to start going out again, it’s time to do some maintenance plus edification.

I’m talking about Springtime cleaning, increasing out your sweaters for t-shirts, planting flowers and- of course- switching from your gas furnace to your a/c. As an Heating plus Air Conditioning professional, I’m here to advise some maintenance options. While you’ll put your sweaters away plus forget about them for multiple weeks, I advise that you do not do this with your gas furnace. There are some gas furnace maintenance tips that you might want to look into. Make sure to scrub plus replace your filters (yep, your gas furnace has a gas furnace filter just love your a/c has an air filter). While you’re replacing the gas furnace filter, in the same area you will find the blower motor. Make sure that your gas furnace’s blower motor is functioning properly. If your gas furnace blower is making a lot of noise, that can indicate an issue. Finally, I cannot advise highly enough that you scrub your gas furnace’s vents plus HVAC duct. You can call your Heating plus Air Conditioning provider for this service. Especially since you’re going to be allowing your gas furnace to rest idle, for the most part, now is the perfect time to get everything in your gas furnace cleaned plus tuned up for next winter. I hope this has been helpful for you! I guess that multiple people don’t feel much about gas furnace maintenance coming into moderate weather, but it’s absolutely 1 of the best times to get your gas furnace diagnosed. I feel of it as purchasing Winter time clothes in the Springtime- you get a nice deal and, come winter, you’ll be much happier.
