I’m ready to throw in the towel
I wanted to make some changes in the guest room.
- My wife and I were getting things ready for her parents to visit.
They were going to come to our house and stay for three weeks and we wanted everything to be perfect. We decided to make some major changes in the guest room. We got rid of the old carpet and we painted the walls. We bought a brand new queen size bed with new sheets, pillows, and a comforter. Since the guest room is farthest away from the HVAC unit, there are often indoor air problems in that part of the house. I didn’t want my wife’s mom and dad to be uncomfortable during their visit, so I decided to install a ductless mini-split HVAC unit in the room. I found several mini-split HVAC units online, and I purchased a piece of equipment that came with step by step instructions and a video. I was certain that I would be able to complete the HVAC insulation job on my own. When the machine arrived in the mail, it took two guys to carry it from the front to the front door. I tried and tried to read through the instructions and watch the video. Unfortunately, it was much more difficult than I anticipated. When I was ready to throw in the towel, my wife and I called the local HVAC company for help. Luckily, they ‘re happy to come help us with the installation. They didn’t even charge much money to complete the job. When my wife’s parents came to visit, they were really surprised by all of the changes.
