Cooling appliances have a devastating effect on me

I have some fairly crazy quirks about me, I suppose, like all the people do.

I especially have issues whenever it comes to the internal thermostat plus indoor temperature control! For as long as I can think back, I’ve been cold.

I’ve always felt unhappy with the drafts, cold air, plus goosebumps that dominate my lifestyle. I have always carried around additional layers, from thin sweatshirts all the way up to heavy coats. I’ve gotten used to continually rubbing my hands together plus keeping tepid drinks with me regularly so that I can easily warm up when my fingers go numb. In short, I’m no stranger to feeling absolutely cold, this can be a major issue, especially when I am sitting around plus working on a laptop all through the day. I hate to say, oftentimes, sitting still means that my circulation is not properly moving warm blood to my extremities. I get even colder plus I actually feel the need to protect myself from any indoor a/c or drafts from air vents above me. It’s really easy in a shared office with a shared thermostat plus a shared Heating & A/C appliance, that’s for sure. When I’m at my dwelling, I still have to fret about the threat of cold indoor cooling appliances, though. In fact, I usually have to block the air vent near my desk to take care of work. If there is cool air blowing towards my feet, I can’t concentrate. I generally shove some pillows next to the HVAC vent plus go about my task feeling warmer than before. The real issue is, I sometimes forget to detach my air vent blocks. Then I wake up in the night sweating profusely. I can’t ever win.
